AZTH 75 - Registration Notes
A Note From the Committee:
Registration is fast approaching! At the appointed time, the registration event will be available at https://www.aztreasurehunt.org/registration. To improve your registration experience this year, the committee has set up a new ticketing platform, a separate merch store, and a team-captain self-service form for updating team information.
The new ticketing platform has CART RESERVATION which means that once you press the blue plus button to add a ticket to your cart and then press the next button to enter the checkout flow you have a reservation hold on that ticket for up to 8 minutes. For hunters who missed the immediate rush, there may still be an opportunity to grab tickets held in carts which expire and are released. We will send an announcement and enable a waitlist once all available tickets have sold.
You do not need to purchase additional maps, cluebooks, or tee-shirts during registration but you may do so. The merch store will be available to all hunters at https://www.aztreasurehunt.org/store until Friday, September 4. All merch will be provided to hunters in person at check-out, there will be no shipping or refunds for merch which is not picked up on hunt night.
Our self-service team information form will be sent to team captains after registration. This form allows them to enter their team name, team member names, and car information. Team name and team member contact information should be entered no later than 2 weeks following registration, while vehicle information may be updated up to hunt night to accommodate rental vehicles.
We received feedback last year that team members would like to receive emails and text messages pertaining to the hunt in addition to the team captain, so we are providing optional email and phone number fields for each team member this year. Hunt communication will be sent to all contact details provided.
One final exciting note: we will be piloting a change this year by increasing the duration of the hunt by 30 minutes to give teams an opportunity to visit more cluesites without increasing site congestion.
Happy Hunting!
